EP 20: “Scary Ghost Stories” - A Christmas Tradition

marleys-ghost.jpg

In this episode, we will take a detailed look at the now almost forgotten Christmas Eve tradition of telling scary ghost stories. While in recent times we have relegated the practice of telling scary stories to the month of October and to Halloween, this has not always been the case. In fact, the telling of terrifying tales is well within Christmas tradition and the Christmas spirit. We will also share “Between The Lights” by E.F. Benson a classic tale of Christmas terror published in 1912.
