The story takes place on Christmas Eve and is a story within a story of twelve friends playing a hide-and-seek type game inside a huge dark house when suddenly a mysterious thirteenth player begins to play.

The entity known as the Bell Witch is truly unique, and will challenge any previous notions of what you think of as a witch. The entity entered the Bell's life quietly and eventually over time ragged into a violent and malevolent poltergeist. What really makes this tale unique is three things. First, this entity spoke plainly and in English, second, it affected an entire community of hundreds of individuals, and finally, it actually murdered or claimed to have murdered John Bell.

In this episode we dive into the history and the hauntings of Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. The university was established in 1901 by James Millikin and is known to be profoundly haunted by multiple ghosts including the infamous “Rail Girl.” This episode also includes an interview with Jeremy Brunk, a Millikin University professor, about an upcoming spooky experience that you can all take part in.
